Introduction

HAYYA A’LASSALAH LET US OFFER NAMAZ (For students and youngsters: A movement to inculcate the habit of Namaz) To encourage the young generation of Muslims to connect with mosques and inculcate the habit of performing Farz Namaz, a movement has been started. In this initiative, youngsters who consistently offer the Fajr Namaz without missing any days will receive a token and a certificate. At the end of the year, during the month of Ramzan, a draw will be held, and three prizes will be awarded. First prize- Bicycle or Rs.5000 Second prize - electronic watch or Rs. 3000 Third prize - sports shoes or Rs.1000 This movement will last for one year. Youngsters who collect the most tokens in a 40-day competition will have their tokens entered into a city-wide draw for all mosques in Bidar. First-prize - Umrah Package or cash amount (10 persons) Second prize - Laptop or Rs.20000 (10 persons) Third prize - Rs.15000 (10 persons) Fourth prize - passport expenses (100 persons)

Understand Qura’an & Salah

The Quran

  • What it is: The Quran is the holy book of Islam. It is considered the word of God (Allah) as revealed to the Prophet Muhammad.
  • How it’s structured: It’s divided into chapters called Surahs and verses called Ayahs. There are 114 Surahs in the Quran.
  • Purpose: It provides guidance on how to live a good life, including moral principles, legal guidelines, and spiritual teachings.

Salah

  • What it is: Salah (or Salat) is the ritual prayer performed by Muslims. It’s one of the Five Pillars of Islam, which are the core practices that shape a Muslim’s faith and actions.
  • How it’s performed: Muslims pray five times a day:
    1. Fajr – Before dawn
    2. Dhuhr – After midday
    3. Asr – Afternoon
    4. Maghrib – Sunset
    5. Isha – Night
  • How it’s done: Each prayer consists of a set number of movements and recitations:
    • Standing – Reciting verses from the Quran (including the opening chapter, Al-Fatiha)
    • Bowing – A gesture of humility
    • Prostrating – A sign of utmost submission to God
    • Sitting – Reflecting and supplicating

Our Activities

Overview:
We are excited to announce a new educational initiative that aims to enhance community learning through technology. We are providing laptops and speakers in approximately 66 Masajid across Bidar city.

Purpose:
The goal is to facilitate engaging video lessons and 3 minute series after Fajr namaz, promoting knowledge and connection within our community.

What We Offer:

  • Equipment: Laptops and speakers for use in each masjid.
  • Content: Thought-provoking video lessons and 3 minute series designed to understand Quran & Namaz easily.

Participation:
We encourage all community members to join us in this initiative. If you’re interested in viewing sessions on a bigger screen, we can accommodate that too!
