We all have clothes lying around the house that aren’t being used anymore and could very well be given away to those who might have better use for them. While sometimes our busy schedules may keep us from depositing the clothes, many of us probably don’t know where we could go ahead and donate them.
Bidar Betterment Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the well-being of the community in Bidar and beyond. Through various initiatives, we strive to address the needs of the underprivileged, fostering a sense of unity and support.
To create a positive and lasting impact on the lives of individuals and families in need by providing them with essential clothing items through our Dress Bank initiative.
Festival season is particularly frenzied for many Indians as they go about buying gifts for their numerous relatives, friends and colleagues. People hope their secret desires for iPhones, golf clubs, or high-end branded handbags, etc., are fulfilled by some generous person in their circle. But what happens to those who look for nothing more than basic necessities .
The Dress Bank operates on a simple yet powerful concept – sharing. If you have extra clothes that are in good condition and you’d like to contribute to a noble cause, consider donating them to Bidar Betterment Foundation. Your contribution will become a source of joy and comfort for someone in need.
We need your help! Bidar Betterment Foundation has been donating years old, uncollected and unwanted clothes to Needy, shelters. Because of the current situation, we have come to know that visitors are less and they are in need of clothes – so your contribution will be timely and much appreciated. If you have clothes, blankets, baby dresses that have become old or don’t fit anymore, we will rehouse them. Kindly do not donate inner garments, torn items and soiled items.
Your contribution will make a world of difference to the people receiving it. Simply drop the clothes at any of our Bidar Betterment Foundation Cluster Offices or you can hand them over to our executive when they come for a pickup.
We will clean and sanitize the clothes, pack them and deliver it. Should you want to know more about whom your clothes are reaching to – please drop us a mail to support@[email protected] and we will ensure that we send you pictures of the happy recipients.
There’s a general rule of thumb when you’re thinking of donating old clothes—would you give it to a friend? If the answer is yes, then you could go right ahead. If the answer is no, because the clothes are torn, dirty or unusable, it would be better to find alternate uses/options.
Individuals who wish to donate can drop off their gently used clothing items at designated collection points or our foundation offices near by you for more info vist our contact page
Our dedicated team ensures that all donated clothes meet the required standards for cleanliness and usability.
Once the clothes pass our quality check, they are made available through our Dress Bank to those in need.We make sure your donations reach someone who really requires them by delivering them to the beneficiaries directly.
